Our Story

The Snake River Valley Training Officers is a division of the Snake River Valley Fire Chiefs Association which was formed in 1968.

The mission of the Snake River Valley Training Officers is to provide and assist in quality training of fire service personnel. To encourage and support fire service training that is oriented toward and designed to reduce firefighter injuries and deaths.  Provide interaction and communications between member departments and to have an established instructor pool. We also sponsor area and regional fire schools within the association. Provide training aids and materials through a regional resource center.
